Instagram has been a great outlet for me to share bits and
pieces of my life. I love sharing with others new places that we visit or new recipes
that I have discovered as well as my favorite kids clothing brands. One thing
that is hard to find in my home town is modern children’s clothing, toys and home furnishings. I have recently discovered Design Life Kids and Kim Wardell the owner of
this perfectly curated online store is so very inspirational. I asked Kim to share a bit about DLK.
"I started DLK as a branch off of my blog, DESIGN +
LIFE + KIDS. It was a creative outlet for me as a stay at home mom that often
involved my two girls, Maya and Senna in our daily adventures. After my husband
passed away this summer I wanted to bring a little light and love back into our
lives so I reached for a dream we had. That dream was opening a store filled
with pieces that we already know and love and new finds that make us smile from
all over the world. My design aesthetic is modern, minimal and bright. I find
that if you surround yourself with good people and well-designed pieces, it can
really impact your every day. So that's my goal with DLK. To share beautiful,
feel good pieces that I've curated from around the world for you. And me
